Meeting venuesLas Vegas, United States

Compare meeting venues in Las Vegas on one brief.

Las Vegas has more meeting space than any city on earth and prices it like an airline. The same room block can be quoted at three prices in three weeks depending on the convention calendar, and resort fees, service charges and F&B minimums are structured to make the headline look low. Capacity is never the problem here; comparability is.

How Las Vegas hotels quote

Same brief, different quotes.

Room rental against an F&B minimum, per-person catering and AV in US dollars, plus a service charge, plus resort fees per room per night that are added regardless of the room rate, plus Clark County room tax. We fix every offer to a fully inclusive total, resort fees included.

We fix all of that into one per-person package, in USD, before any hotel quotes. Hotels then compete on a number that means the same thing in every offer, and the rank you see is the rank of what you would actually pay.

What moves prices in Las Vegas

CES in January, the big construction and technology shows, and the major fights and residencies fill the city at any price. Midweek in any convention week is impossible; the weekend after is negotiable. The summer heat from June to August brings the lowest rates of the year for an indoor meeting.

Market conventions, tax treatment and event dates as understood in September 2026 from published sources; they change. Every offer in an RFPVenue contest states its own tax, service and fee basis, and that is what you compare on. New to these conventions? Read the day delegate rate guide or start from the RFP template.

Where to hold it

Where Las Vegas meetings actually happen.

The hotel clusters buyers use, and what our sourcing desk would tell you about each before the brief is fixed. Name a district in the brief or let the field decide.

  • The Strip, centre

The integrated resorts with the largest ballrooms in the world. Everything under one roof, priced by the convention calendar.

  • The Strip, south & Convention Center

Resorts beside the Las Vegas Convention Center, built for the trade shows.

  • Downtown & Fremont

Smaller, cheaper and more characterful hotels for an offsite that wants to avoid the Strip.

  • Summerlin & Henderson

Resort hotels away from the Strip for leadership offsites and board retreats.

Figures are each hotel's published maximum for the layout, read on the date shown below; they shrink once staging, AV and catering are in the room, and hotels change them. Confirm capacity against your brief before you rely on it. For a meeting of 20 to 120 people the largest ballroom is rarely the right room; the number of meeting rooms tells you more about breakout capacity.

Most briefs are for 20 to 120 people, but the venue table above shows the ballrooms and convention hotels for several thousand, and the process is the same. Send the brief as you have it; we make it comparable.

  1. 01

    One package, fixed first

Room, breaks, lunch, AV, bedrooms, taxes, service and cancellation terms are locked before any hotel sees the brief. Every quote means the same thing.

  2. 02

    Comparable hotels only

We invite properties that match the brief on capacity, standard and location, including any you name. A round needs at least three comparable offers to open.

  3. 03

    A live contest

Hotels see their own rank and the price to beat, never each other. Prices can only fall. You award on best value and are under no obligation if nothing fits.

  4. 04

    A figure finance can file

The awarded total against the average of confirmed comparable offers, hashed and printable. The booking contract stays directly between you and the hotel.

Questions

Booking a meeting in Las Vegas

What buyers ask us about this city first. Anything else, put it in the brief.

Are resort fees negotiable?
Within a contest, yes, and we fix them into the inclusive total so a hotel that waives them wins the rank fairly. Outside a contest they are presented as non-negotiable.
Do our delegates need to be near the Convention Center?
Only if they are attending a show there. For your own meeting, the resorts in the centre and south of the Strip offer the same product, and the calendar of one resort's conventions differs from the next.
Is a summer meeting in Las Vegas sensible?
For a meeting that lives indoors, it is the best-value period by a wide margin. The resorts are built for it.
