Meeting venuesMiami, United States
Miami's hotels price for a leisure season that runs from December to April and for events like Art Basel and the Grand Prix that push rates to New York levels. A corporate meeting in season is quoted around the resort rate, with resort fees and service charges added to it. Out of season, the same hotels compete very hard.
How Miami hotels quote
Room rental against an F&B minimum, per-person catering and AV in US dollars, plus a service charge, plus resort fees per room per night at most beach and many downtown hotels, plus Miami-Dade hotel taxes. We fix every offer to a fully inclusive total, resort fees included.
We fix all of that into one per-person package, in USD, before any hotel quotes. Hotels then compete on a number that means the same thing in every offer, and the rank you see is the rank of what you would actually pay.
Art Basel Miami Beach in early December, the Miami Grand Prix in May, the boat show in February and spring break in March fill the city. The high season from mid-December to April lifts every hotel. May to November, hurricane season aside, is the buyer's window and rates can be half the season rate.

Where to hold it
The hotel clusters buyers use, and what our sourcing desk would tell you about each before the brief is fixed. Name a district in the brief or let the field decide.
The financial district. Modern business hotels with conference space and corporate pricing.
Large conference hotels for meetings at scale, near the arena and the port.
The resort hotels. Incentive-style offsites and board retreats, priced by the season.
The Latin American regional headquarters and the University. Established hotels with boardroom space and keener pricing.
Venues buyers shortlist
A sample of established meeting hotels across Miami's districts, with the capacity figures each hotel publishes on its own site. Not a ranking, a recommendation or a partnership: when you send a brief we invite whichever comparable hotels fit it, whether or not they are listed here.
| Hotel | District | Meeting rooms | Largest room | Theatre | Banquet | Event space | Transport |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| JW Marriott Marquis Miami | Downtown / Brickell, Biscayne Boulevard Way | 19 | Metropolitan Grand Ballroom | 1500 | 1000 | 5,507 m² | – |
| Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay | Downtown, North Bayshore Drive | 25 | Grand Ballroom | 1000 | 800 | 4,422 m² | – |
| JW Marriott Miami | Brickell Avenue | 18 | Grand Ballroom | 1200 | 600 | 2,383 m² | – |
| W Miami | Brickell Avenue | 6 | Great Room | 190 | 200 | 604 m² | – |
Figures are each hotel's published maximum for the layout, read on the date shown below; they shrink once staging, AV and catering are in the room, and hotels change them. Confirm capacity against your brief before you rely on it. For a meeting of 20 to 120 people the largest ballroom is rarely the right room; the number of meeting rooms tells you more about breakout capacity.

Meetings in Miami
Latin America regional leadership meetings for the headquarters in Brickell and Coral Gables, incentive programmes and board retreats on the beach, and sales conferences downtown.
Most briefs are for 20 to 120 people, but the venue table above shows the ballrooms and convention hotels for several thousand, and the process is the same. Send the brief as you have it; we make it comparable.
Room, breaks, lunch, AV, bedrooms, taxes, service and cancellation terms are locked before any hotel sees the brief. Every quote means the same thing.
We invite properties that match the brief on capacity, standard and location, including any you name. A round needs at least three comparable offers to open.
Hotels see their own rank and the price to beat, never each other. Prices can only fall. You award on best value and are under no obligation if nothing fits.
The awarded total against the average of confirmed comparable offers, hashed and printable. The booking contract stays directly between you and the hotel.
