Meeting venuesRiyadh, Saudi Arabia

Compare meeting venues in Riyadh on one brief.

Riyadh's hotel supply is growing faster than anywhere in the world and demand is growing with it. New hotels quote aggressively to build occupancy; established ones quote at Vision 2030 event rates. The spread on a like-for-like brief is wider than in a mature market, and fees are added inconsistently.

How Riyadh hotels quote

Same brief, different quotes.

Per-person packages and room rates in Saudi riyals, typically excluding 15% VAT, a service charge and a municipality fee. We fix every offer to an inclusive total. The weekend is Friday and Saturday, and the working week runs Sunday to Thursday.

We fix all of that into one per-person package, in SAR, before any hotel quotes. Hotels then compete on a number that means the same thing in every offer, and the rank you see is the rank of what you would actually pay.

What moves prices in Riyadh

The Future Investment Initiative in October and LEAP in February fill the city at any price. Riyadh Season from October to March lifts leisure demand. Ramadan and the two Eid holidays change the day and move each year. Summer is very hot and well priced for indoor meetings.

Market conventions, tax treatment and event dates as understood in September 2026 from published sources; they change. Every offer in an RFPVenue contest states its own tax, service and fee basis, and that is what you compare on. New to these conventions? Read the day delegate rate guide or start from the RFP template.

Where to hold it

Where Riyadh meetings actually happen.

The hotel clusters buyers use, and what our sourcing desk would tell you about each before the brief is fixed. Name a district in the brief or let the field decide.

  • King Abdullah Financial District

The financial centre. The newest business hotels with conference floors and corporate pricing.

  • Olaya & King Fahd Road

The established business corridor. Deep supply of conference hotels.

  • Diplomatic Quarter

Embassies and government. Quiet, secure hotels for board-level meetings.

  • Riyadh Front & the airport

The exhibition and conference centre and the hotels around it, calendar-priced.

Figures are each hotel's published maximum for the layout, read on the date shown below; they shrink once staging, AV and catering are in the room, and hotels change them. Confirm capacity against your brief before you rely on it. For a meeting of 20 to 120 people the largest ballroom is rarely the right room; the number of meeting rooms tells you more about breakout capacity.

Meetings in Riyadh

What buyers run here.

Regional and country leadership meetings for companies expanding into the Kingdom, government-facing conferences, and training programmes for Saudi teams.

Most briefs are for 20 to 120 people, but the venue table above shows the ballrooms and convention hotels for several thousand, and the process is the same. Send the brief as you have it; we make it comparable.

  1. 01

    One package, fixed first

Room, breaks, lunch, AV, bedrooms, taxes, service and cancellation terms are locked before any hotel sees the brief. Every quote means the same thing.

  2. 02

    Comparable hotels only

We invite properties that match the brief on capacity, standard and location, including any you name. A round needs at least three comparable offers to open.

  3. 03

    A live contest

Hotels see their own rank and the price to beat, never each other. Prices can only fall. You award on best value and are under no obligation if nothing fits.

  4. 04

    A figure finance can file

The awarded total against the average of confirmed comparable offers, hashed and printable. The booking contract stays directly between you and the hotel.

Questions

Booking a meeting in Riyadh

What buyers ask us about this city first. Anything else, put it in the brief.

How do we plan around the Saudi working week?
The week is Sunday to Thursday. A Monday-to-Tuesday meeting works; a Thursday-to-Friday one does not. We check the brief against the local calendar before it is fixed.
Are the new hotels genuinely comparable with the established names?
Often better equipped. We verify capacity, layout and service standard before any hotel is invited, so the field is comparable in fact and not just in star rating.
Does 15% VAT apply to the whole package?
Yes, on accommodation, catering and room hire alike, and it is frequently left off first quotes. We fix it into the inclusive total.
