Dublin's hotel market runs hot on tech and pharma demand, and a shortage of bedrooms means residential meetings are quoted on availability more than on the brief. The day delegate rate can look reasonable while the bedrooms behind it double the total.
How Dublin hotels quote
Day delegate rates per person and residential rates, quoted in euro. Ireland applies a reduced VAT rate to accommodation and food, but the standard rate to room hire and AV, so a low-looking package can carry a mixed tax line. Hotels quote gross unless asked.
We fix all of that into one per-person package, in EUR, before any hotel quotes. Hotels then compete on a number that means the same thing in every offer, and the rank you see is the rank of what you would actually pay.
Six Nations home weekends at the Aviva, big concerts at Croke Park and the 3Arena, and St Patrick's week fill the city at any price. Convention Centre Dublin congresses take out the Docklands midweek. The tech-conference season in autumn is busy across the board. January, February and November are soft.

We invite properties that match the brief on capacity, standard and location, including any you name. A round needs at least three comparable offers to open.
Hotels see their own rank and the price to beat, never each other. Prices can only fall. You award on best value and are under no obligation if nothing fits.
